Alexandra RusuIn August 2026, the Transfiguration will be on the 6th, because it's always on the 6th. This year I made prunes exactly on that day, after work. Interesting when Dormition falls, to see if it lasts next summer.
Vuk MarkovićIt's the same with us, the Transfiguration always falls on August 6, just like Alexandra says. Last year, on that day, I baked a cake with plums for the celebration after the liturgy, so we ate it with the children. Now I'm interested in when Lent will fall in 2026, to know if I will be able to bake cakes without eggs or not.
