On August 19, 2026, on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, in the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Brest, another meeting was held with the wards of the Brest regional organization of the public association “Belarusian Society of the Deaf.” People with hearing impairments prayed during the Divine Liturgy. The translation of the service into sign language was carried out by R.V. Pavlovich. The synchronization of liturgical texts and gospel readings was prepared by Yu.V. Kravchuk. Priest Leonid Simonchik held a spiritual conversation in which he spoke about the Transfiguration of the Lord and the traditions associated with this day.

Dobrze, że znowu spotkali się w taki ważny dzień. Ciekawe, jak tłumaczy się na język migowy historię o Przemienieniu na górze Tabor – pewnie R.V. Pawłowicz miała sporo roboty. Dziękuję za tę relację, u nas w Gdańsku też czasem gościmy osoby niesłyszące na liturgii.

У нас в Самаре тоже иногда приглашают глухих на службы, но переводчица всегда устает, особенно с такими текстами, как Преображение. Интересно, как Р.В. Павлович объясняла сияние на Фаворе руками — наверное, красиво получилось. Спасибо за рассказ, хороший праздник отметили.
