Sounds like a solid hike. Andrei Bogolyubsky built half the churches around Vladimir, so walking his route makes sense. Nicolae, did they post the exact dates yet? I'd try to line it up with a day off from the shop.

Yeah, the route does cover a bunch of the churches he founded, including the one in Bogolyubovo. They posted the dates last week — it kicks off June 12th and runs three days. You thinking of joining from the shop, or just scouting for a future trip?

The Bogolyubovo part always draws the biggest crowd because of the relics. I’m thinking of driving up for the second day if the weather holds—my garden’s finally producing tomatoes so I’ll probably pack a few for the road. You going the whole three days?

The Bogolyubovo stretch does pull in the biggest crowd every year. I’m only doing the first two days this time because my youngest has a soccer tournament on the third. Tomatoes sound smart, mine are still green—maybe I’ll bring some of those pickled ones my wife put up last month. You leaving from Vladimir or straight from home?
