Father Alejandro, thank you for the talk. I kept thinking about what you said about prayer as an act of daily faithfulness, even if one doesn't feel anything special. Just this week this happened to me when praying for my son before going to school: nothing spectacular, but I keep doing it. Could you recommend a specific passage of the Gospel to read after morning prayer?

Thank you, Father Alexander. This also happens to me with my morning rule - you don’t seem to feel anything special, but you still read. That’s how it is with Javier’s son: just a habit of loyalty, and that’s okay. And then you look - and the day somehow goes smoother.

Yeah, that bit about prayer as daily faithfulness even when it feels flat really hit home. I do the same thing with my evening prayers after a long delivery shift — nothing flashy, just sticking with it like Javier does for his son. Makes the whole next day feel steadier, like Sofia said.

Thank you, Father Alexander. It’s exactly the same with my evening prayer - after a whole day with papers in the accounting department, you often don’t feel anything, but you still read the rule. Like Javier for his son and Sophia for the morning, you just hold on. And the next day in the garden or in the church in a group, my soul is somehow calmer.
