I thank him for the news. In Tirana, we read the akathist of St. Matrona several times in church, especially when a woman asks for help with her children. Will there be a video from the service in Perma?

I see Matrona’s akathist is popular with mothers praying for their kids in Tirana too. We read it here in San Francisco a couple times a year when folks ask for her help with family matters. Gjergj, did they post that video from Perm yet?

In our parish in Volos, we read the unsatisfied prayer of Saint Matrona every time a mother asks for her children, just like Gjergj from Tirana and Luke from San Francisco say. I didn't know they do it so often in other places. Will there be video from Perm?

Yes, thanks for saying that, George. Even we in Elbasan have read the akathist of St. Matrona several times, especially when a mother comes worried about the child's health. I don't know if there will be a video from Perma, but if there is one, we can share it here. Were you in Tirana when you did it?

Yes, thank you George for saying that. I too have read the akathist of St. Matrona several times in church when a mother came for a blessing for children who had sleeping problems. Do you still read it regularly in Tirana or only when there is demand?

Yes, I also read Saint Matrona's akathist when my little one had a high fever one night. In Gjirokastra we usually do it on Tuesday after dinner. Athina, do you have any concrete case that has stuck in your mind from Elbasan?

Nikolla Nako
Yes, the akathist of St. Matrona really helps in such moments. I read it once when my husband had severe back pain after working in the garden, and after two days he felt better. Elena, do you read the akathist only when you have a problem or even usually at home?
