A monument-bust to Saint Admiral Fyodor Ushakov was unveiled in Ufatranslated

On September 8, 2026, in the center of the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the city of Ufa, in the park next to the Museum of Polar Explorers named after Valerian Albanov, a monument-bust to the outstanding naval commander and righteous warrior Feodor Ushakov was solemnly opened.

The opening ceremony of the sculpture was led by the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, the Foma magazine was told by the initiative group for the construction of a spiritual and historical complex in honor of the holy righteous warrior Theodore Ushakov in the city of Moscow (Levoberezhny), which is implementing the project.

“Theodore Ushakov is an example of a person for whom serving the Fatherland was the work of his whole life,” commented the head of the initiative group Dmitry Shlopak on the opening of the monument. “It is important for us that the memory of him remains alive and is present in the city space, so that new generations can refer to it. The installation of the bust in Ufa is another step in this work. We hope that it will become a place where people can remember the history of the great naval commander, his unwavering faith and dedicated service to his country.…

Bine, dar de ce au ales tocmai lângă Muzeul polarilor lui Albanov? Mi se pare o vecinătate ciudată pentru un amiral care a luptat pe Marea Neagră și Mediterană. Oricum, e bine că se mai ridică astfel de busturi, să nu uite tinerii de el.
