The 40th anniversary of the ministry of Archpriest Evgeniy Vivcharik was celebrated in Soldatkatranslated

On July 6, the day of remembrance of the Icon of the Mother of God “Vladimirskaya”, celebrations were held in the Kazan Church in the village of Soldatka, Krasnogvardeysky District, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the priestly ordination of the rector of the church, Archpriest Evgeniy Vivcharik.

The Divine Liturgy on this occasion was celebrated by the Head of the Belgorod Metropolis, Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, Bishop Savva of Valuysk and Alekseevsk, co-served by the dean of the 1st Biryuchensky district, Archpriest Oleg Morgulyak, the dean of the Novooskolsky district, Archpriest Nikolai Gerasimchuk, and the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross in the city of Belgorod, Archpriest John Borchuk, cleric of the Smolensk Cathedral in the city of Belgorod, priest Sergius Borchuk, cleric of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love and Their Mother Sophia in the city of Belgorod, priest Alexander Fokin and the clergy of the I and II Biryuchensky deaneries.

After reading the Holy Gospel, Metropolitan John addressed the worshipers with an archpastoral word dedicated to the feast of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God and understanding the path of the Russian people.
