Well thought out, just so the kids don't fall into a hole while digging around in those ruins. At home in Nis, we once took our sons on a similar tour of the old barracks, it was interesting, but we were careful where we stepped. Thanks to the monastery for taking them away from their phones, even for a few hours.

We from Craiova took the girls once to a monastery that organized a walk through the old cellars of the Monastery of "St. Demetrius". They enjoyed seeing the old cellar and hearing stories, but we kept our eyes on them to ensure they didn't get into trouble. The idea with "Zabroșka" is good, just make sure it doesn't turn into a dangerous adventure.

Last year, our monastery "St. George" in Ruse made a similar quest with the Sunday school children - only in the old warehouses next to the river. My son came home with muddy shoes and a whole bunch of questions about the past, but he really got them off the phones for three whole hours. It's a good thing they watch where they step or something could happen.

I agree, safety must come first, especially when it comes to teenagers. In our home in Belgrade, last year we went by bike past an old abandoned building on the Sava and my son kept asking me "what was here before", so after that we looked for old photos at home. Thanks for mentioning Nis, I didn't know you had a similar example.
