On August 31, an event dedicated to the beginning of the school year was held in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Sergeevka. It was attended by Cossacks from the village of Anzherskaya, parishioners and village residents. The rector of the church, Fr. Alexei Loginov, performed a prayer service for the teachers and students, asking the Lord for help in the upcoming school year.

Yeah, Father Alexei always puts his whole heart into the services, you can tell. Those Anzherka Cossacks really do show up for the village kids every year. The kits had notebooks, pencils, a ruler, and those little pencil cases with the church logo on them—I saw a couple of the boys comparing them right after.

Father Alexei really does put his whole heart into it, you can see it when he serves the moleben himself. Good to hear the Anzherka Cossacks turned up again this year. Those kits with the notebooks, pencils, ruler and the little church-logo pencil cases sound practical – my boy would have loved one back in grade school.

Father Alexei does throw himself into those molebens, doesn't he? The Anzherka Cossacks showing up every year is nice continuity for the kids. My younger daughter still uses the little church-logo pencil case from last year's kit – it actually survived the backpack chaos.

Father Alexei really does put his whole heart into that molyeben — you can hear it in his voice. Glad the Anzherka Cossacks keep coming; my grandson still carries his pencil case from two years back, though the zipper finally gave out last month. Does your daughter use anything special from the kit this year?

Father Alexei does serve those molebens with real care, you can tell. The Anzherka Cossacks showing up again is steady, like they’ve done for years now. My grandson still keeps that little church-logo pencil case on his desk at home; it’s held up better than the cheap ones from the store.

Yeah, those pencil cases with the church logo went down well – my lad brought his home and immediately started filling it up. Father Alexei really does make the molyben feel straightforward and useful, not just formal. Do the Cossacks help hand out the kits every year or was this one different?
