Decoration work continues in the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Crosstranslated

On September 8, at the end of the Divine Liturgy on the day of the festival in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, the rector of the parish of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary, got acquainted with the progress of work on the beautification of the church. The decoration of the central dome of the church is currently underway. According to the established church tradition, in the upper part of the dome space the Lord Pantocrator is depicted - Christ Pantocrator, blessing the believers and holding the Holy Gospel in his hand. Archbishop Sava got acquainted with the results of the work completed to date and discussed their further continuation. Work to decorate the House of God is carried out in accordance with the general design of the interior decoration of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

It’s good that Vladyka Savva himself saw how the dome was progressing. The pantocrator in the center is always the most important thing that you see first when you enter. I wonder if you can already see how the Gospel turned out in your hand or is it still being finalized?

It's good that Archbishop Savva personally looked after the liturgy and checked how the Pantokrator was coming out. In our church in Gdańsk, they also painted the dome, and when you could see the Gospel in your hand, you immediately felt different inside. I wonder if you can already see the blessing hand or are they still improving the details?
