Good that they talked to the children about the life of Saint Nicholas of Japan, especially since it is the 190th anniversary. My granddaughter is in the fifth grade, and meetings like this always stick in her head more than a regular class. May it bless them for the whole school year.

I agree, such discussions really go deeper than a regular lesson. My daughter was in a similar meeting last year and even now she remembers how Saint Nicholas started in Japan almost alone. Let it last them all year.
