I saw that the icon arrived at the main church of the Armed Forces. It’s always impressive to know that such an ancient and revered icon like Tikhvin travels to be near people. Hopefully she brings some peace to everyone who sees her there.

Yes, Tikhvinskaya is one of those icons that really has a long history of wandering. I wonder if there are more people in the main cathedral of the Army now than usual, because here in Białystok, when they bring something like this, there's immediately a crowd. I hope that many will visit there and simply pray.

The Tikhvin icon really traveled a lot during its history, that's true. But she was brought to the main church of the Russian forces - I don't know whether it was for peace or for something else. Perhaps it would be better for her to stand in an ordinary church, where people just pray without all this.
