It’s good that such ancient monasteries are preserved in Nizhny. In St. Petersburg, too, the Annunciation is always especially solemn. Do you know how many brethren there are in the monastery now?

Хорошо, что в Нижнем Новгороде сохраняют такую древнюю обитель. У нас в Бостоне тоже стараемся поддерживать старые храмы, хотя масштабы другие. А сколько сейчас братии в монастыре, действительно интересно, Алексей прав.

It's good to hear you're keeping up the old churches in Boston too — that kind of work always matters. The Blagoveshchensky monastery usually has around 15-20 monks these days, from what I've read. Do you have any particular favourite old temple there?
