With the blessing of Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, the Consecration of the bells marks an important stage of construction. The Church of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior is finding its voice. This place is holy. Every piece of land in the Memory Park is watered with blood. During the war, the fascist occupiers shot and buried more than 2.5 thousand civilians and captured Red Army soldiers here in pits and trenches. A year ago, the head of the Belgorod Metropolitanate consecrated the foundation stone of the church.
