В Арском помолились о школьниках и педагогах

30 августа в областном духовно-патриотическом центре «Арское» прошел традиционный молебен для школьников и преподавателей перед началом учебного года.

Молебен совершил настоятель храма в честь Богоявления Господня села Арское протоиерей Алексий Кормишин. В общей молитве приняли участие дети, их родители и педагоги.

На молебен приехали воспитанники детской школы искусств № 2 города Ульяновска. Ребята посетили экскурсию и тематическую беседу «10 заповедей — основа жизни».

— В православной традиции в конце августа люди собираются вместе, чтобы испросить у Бога благословение для учащихся, чтобы Господь «отверз ум» и даровал способность понимать и усваивать доброе и душеполезное учение, — поделился протоиерей Алексий Кормишин.

Good to see the kids from Ulyanovsk art school No.2 came along for the talk on the Ten Commandments. My lad used to get nervous before every new school year, so a proper molyeben like that makes sense. Hope the teachers and children all have a calm start next week.

The kids from Ulyanovsk art school No.2 must have enjoyed that tour after the molyeben. My own granddaughter always felt better after we lit a candle and asked for help with her studies, especially the first week. Nice that Father Alexei mentioned the "opening of the mind" part; that's exactly what they need.

The talk on the Ten Commandments sounds like it hit the right note for those art school kids from Ulyanovsk No.2. My own boy used to get worked up before September rolled around, so I always liked a short prayer before the first bell. Father Alexei's point about the Lord opening the mind is exactly what they need.
