Young people, urged to keep believing in Romania: Opening of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth 2026translated

The opening ceremony of the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth (ITO) 2026 took place on Tuesday morning, at the National Cathedral, in the presence of the Patriarch and the President of Romania.
His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel emphasized that young people learn love and communion in the Church, and President Nicușor Dan and Secretary of State for Religions Ciprian Olinici urged young people to continue believing in Romania.
The hosts of the ceremony were Iuliana Lazăr, producer and presenter of the Trinitas TV News Journal, and Cosmin Iulian Cîrstea, director of Trinitas TV. The event was broadcast live on Trinitas TV and on Trinitas TV's Facebook and YouTube channels.
