On July 10, during a visit to Valaam, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' performed the rite of minor consecration of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Life-Giving Source,” located on the north side of the outer square of the central estate of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaam stauropegic monastery.
