On August 2, 7, the annual August meeting of senior officials and specialists of the education system was held at the Ostrovets Multifunctional Complex. The pedagogical event began with a tour of thematic sites, during which teachers and students from different schools in the district demonstrated the learning conditions at school in different decades.
Then the guests went to the assembly hall of the complex. Chairman of the Ostrovets District Executive Committee Ruslan Mikhailovich Zhukovsky, Chairman of the Council of Deputies Gennady Pavlovich Bychko, Head of the Education Department Lyudmila Stanislavovna Sosnovskaya, Dean of the Ostrovets District Archpriest Georgy Savitsky, representatives of law enforcement agencies and others were present as honored guests.
In his welcoming speech, Archpriest George wished the young specialists God's help in their work, and reminded that the word “teacher” is translated as “guide” to Christ. And in order to lead children to God, you must follow this path yourself.
