Interesting, I didn't know it was so serious here in Novletie. In our parish, the father always tells us to help concretely, not just with words, but to see that he went to the prisons is another level. Maybe we should try something similar next year, at least with a table for the lonely old people on the block.

In the article he says that in old Russia on New Year they gave alms and even went to prisons. I didn't know that. In our parish, Father tells us the same, to help with actions, not just words. Maybe next year we will start with something simple, even a soup for anyone in need.
