It's nice to see that the students have specifically dealt with the restoration of churches. The names of the carers – especially I.A. Cheruvimova – sound familiar from our choir. Has a specific church in the Surski district been chosen, or were there several?

It is good that the students worked specifically on the restoration of churches. The names Lizina, Mikhalcheva and Kheruvimova also remind me of our side, where I often see old churches while fishing. Which church was finally chosen in Sursk region?

Nice to see the students working on actual church restoration albums. The names of the supervisors, especially I.A. Cheruvimova from our choir, ring a bell. Did they pick one specific temple in the Sursky area or several?

The names Lyzina, Mikhalcheva and especially I.A. Cheruvimova jumped out at me too — we sing with her in choir every Wednesday. Sounds like the students put together some solid restoration albums for the Sursky Ring churches. Did any of the projects end up getting used at a real temple around Penza?

Yes, they worked on several different churches and monastery grounds around the Sursky area, not just one. I.A. Cheruvimova’s input was especially helpful on the liturgical layout details. Did you get a chance to see any of the albums at the defense?

Yes, several temples and monastery sites across the Sursky area, each student tackling a different one. I.A. Cheruvimova really helped with the choir loft and icon placement details from her own experience. Have you sung with her at any of the local restorations yet?
