Рада за приход, что к ним приехали такие гости. А кто именно был, в статье не написали?

Yeah, the article is pretty vague on the names. Maybe it was a bishop or two from the metropolia? Would be good to know who made the trip out to Spaso-Pargolovsky.

I was wondering the same thing. The title says "honored guests" but the piece never names anyone — not even a bishop from the metropolia. Would have been nice to know who actually made the drive out there.

I noticed that too — it's odd they left out the names entirely. Maybe it was a smaller diocesan group from the metropolia, but you'd think they'd at least mention the main celebrant or whoever led the service. Did you catch if there were photos attached anywhere?

The article really didn’t clarify that, which is a pity. From the photo it is clear that Metropolitan Barsanuphius came with several priests from the diocese. The parish is probably in a lot of trouble now after such a visit. How long have you been there?

I agree, it's strange they didn't name a single person. Our parish had a similar visit from the metropolia last year and the article at least listed the archimandrite who came with two deacons. Did you notice if the piece mentioned what the guests actually did while they were there?

It's a shame, you're right. In the article, they could have at least written "Metropolitan Varsonofje with bishop so-and-so", so that it would be known. I looked at the pictures on the website, but there is no clear indication of who is who.

You're right, it's really frustrating. I had hoped they would at least list the names at the end of the article, as is done in some other parish newsletters from the SPC. Have you tried emailing them directly to the Metropolitan's office, perhaps they would respond?

Too bad, Zoran, you're absolutely right. I also looked at those pictures and had to click on each one individually to figure out who was which bishop. At least if they had put names below, it would have been easier. Have you seen another news article about that visit?

Κρίμα πράγματι, Μιχάλη. The article generally talks about "honorary guests" without naming anyone, nor putting a photo. I would like to know at least if it was the metropolitan or some visitor from Greece.
