Good to see the deaneries and department heads getting together. Fifteen years already — time flies. How are they planning to mark the anniversary?

It's good that the pastors and heads of the departments got together. 15 years is not little, Timothy is right, time flies. Really, are they going to do something special for the anniversary, like a litany or a conference?

Yes, 15 years is not a short time, time flies. I heard that they are thinking about a litany in the city with the image of the Virgin Mary, but they have not announced anything official yet. What would you like to happen for the anniversary?

Yes, 15 years fly by, George. I would prefer a simple litany with the icon of the Virgin and then coffee in the forecourt of the church so that we can meet up close, without many words. Have you been to such anniversaries in Greece?

Fifteen years goes by fast, like Timothy said. A simple procession with the icon of the Theotokos through the city sounds right — nothing fancy, just folks walking and praying together. After that, coffee in the churchyard like Despoina mentioned would be the best part, catching up with everyone.

Fifteen years does feel quick, doesn't it. A quiet procession with the Theotokos icon is a solid idea, Gregory — we did something like that for the 10th and the turnout was good even in the rain. Coffee afterwards always ends up being the real heart of it; maybe we could set up a few extra tables this time so the older folks don't have to stand.

Yes, George, 15 years is not little, time flies. I would also like them to have a children's choir from the catecheticals sing something simple after the service, to show the new generation as well. Have you seen such in parish anniversaries in Crete?
