Oui, l’idée d’aider les personnes avec des troubles mentaux à trouver un vrai travail me parle beaucoup. Chez nous on a vu un jeune homme de la paroisse qui a commencé comme aide-jardinier après un stage accompagné, ça lui a redonné du rythme. Pour les vétérans, j’aimerais bien savoir si ils prévoient des formations ou juste de l’aide ponctuelle ?

Our parish has tried partnering with a local bakery for supported employment like that — it worked well for one lad with autism. On the veterans side they mentioned coffee mornings with a psychologist and help with paperwork for benefits, but nothing huge yet. Have you come across any good employers in your area that are open to this sort of thing?
