I am glad that Archbishop Varpholomey met personally with the directors and clergy of five gymnasia right before the start of the academic year. I find it interesting what they discussed regarding the new program—especially since Father George Nesterov was also there. Will there be more hours for church singing?

It’s good that Metropolitan Bartholomew met with the directors and Father Georgy Nesterov just before the start of the school year. Here in St. Petersburg we are also trying to ensure that the curriculum in gymnasiums is not only about lessons, but also about the soul. I wonder if they discussed how to take children to prayer services in front of the Burning Bush icon more often, as they did in the cathedral on September 17?
