It’s good that in the Lavra, it’s really quieter and more concentrated there. Father Sergius from Sergiev Posad was chosen as deputy; he has been helping in the department for a long time. And regarding the mission - this year in Nikolskoye we are again collecting warm clothes for distribution points, like last year, maybe your parish will get involved?

Here in Kazan we also collect warm clothes for those in need, and this year we plan to add children’s jackets. Approximately how many sets are needed for your Nikolsky?

Thank you, Olga, for writing. Father Sergius is truly reliable; last year he quickly sorted out warm clothes for families with many children. In Nikolskoye we now need about 35–40 sets for the winter, especially in children’s sizes. Where do you collect jackets in Kazan - through the church or directly to the fund?
