Congratulations to Bishop Jonah. The part where the Patriarch spoke about the need to strengthen parish life in the villages really struck me — we have the same challenges here in our deanery. Praying that his new diocese sees good fruit from that focus.

I agree, that part about village parishes really hit home. We face the same thing in our Ottawa-area deanery — small congregations scattered across the countryside, with everyone driving in from farms. Bishop Jonah sounds like the right man for it; hope his focus brings some steady growth there too.
