The Simbirsk sisterhood sent 2,000 servings of freeze-dried soups to the North Military District fighterstranslated

With the blessing of Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky, the sisters of mercy in the name of St. Blessed Andrew, the Wonderworker of Simbirsk, prepared and sent the next batch of humanitarian aid to the front line. In September, 2,000 servings of instant dry soups were given to military personnel located in the special military operation zone.

The sisterhood provides a full production cycle: they purchase fresh vegetables and meat, cook soups according to home recipes, freeze-dry them, preserving their taste and beneficial properties without preservatives, and then pack them. In each box, the sisters of mercy put “Alive in the Help of the Most High” belts, small icons and notes with names for remembrance. All work is carried out on a charitable basis. Parishioners of the churches of the Simbirsk diocese work together with the sisters of mercy.

Aid collections are carried out regularly. Since the beginning of the special military operation, the volume of support has been growing: up to 3,500 portions of hot meals are sent to the front every month. Over the past time, tens of thousands of portions have been sent.

Thanks for sharing this. Those homemade dried soups sound way better than standard army rations — especially with the real meat and veg they put in. The prayer belts and little icons in every box is a nice touch too. Keep up the good work, sisters.
