September 13th, 2026 falls exactly on the Sunday before the Exaltation of the Cross - we always sing “The Tree of the Cross” in the choir. Let's see if I can still remember the text by then.

Yes, September 13th, 2026 is actually the Sunday before the Exaltation of the Cross. We also sang “The Tree of the Cross” last year, and I think it always sounds particularly beautiful when the choir gets it together correctly. Will you be able to finish the text by then, or are you already secretly practicing in the kitchen?

Oh, and we have it on September 13, 2026, right before the Ascension. I remember how the choir sang "To Your Cross" after the liturgy last year, and it turned out so well that even the grandmothers in the corner were wiping their eyes. Francisco, if you are going to teach "Den Kreuzesbaum", then maybe send at least one verse, let's hear how it sounds with you?
