In Russia, it was always considered that a woman who goes through an abortion is primarily a victim—often under pressure from her husband, parents, or simply out of fear. Punishing her criminally is like treating a disease by cutting off the head. It would be better to provide more financial assistance and tell her the truth about what is happening inside her.
