This year, August 9, old style, falls on Sunday. I wonder if in church during the Liturgy they will read this particular Gospel about how they were not accepted in their city? We usually try to combine it with the new style, but sometimes they leave the old calendar for such days.

Here in Timișoara, at the neighborhood church, this year they took into account the old style exactly for this Sunday and read all of Mark 6, with Jesus rejected in Nazareth. I thought it was very appropriate, that the sermon focused on the idea that sometimes even your own people don't listen to you. Do you think they will do the same for you or will they switch to the new calendar?
