PS Nichifor Botoșaneanul participated in the opening of the Conference of Religion Teachers from Iași Countytranslated
Vicar Bishop Nichifor Botoșaneanul of the Archdiocese of Iași celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the Old Cathedral in Iași on Friday, at the opening of the County's Religious Teachers' Confirmation.
His Eminence offered, on behalf of Metropolitan Teofan of Moldavia and Bucovina, the "Cross of the Holy Hierarch of Dosoft" for laymen to Denisiei-Elena Mănoiu, school inspector for the discipline of Religion within the Iași County School Inspectorate.
During the Holy Liturgy, the hierarch ordained deacon Flavius Popa, from the "Doxologia" Cultural-Missionary Center, a priest.
The program continued with the works of the conference, where Fr. Lucian Filip, diocesan inspector within the Education Sector of the Archdiocese of Iasi, Fr. Cristian-Alexandru Barnea, vice-dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Iasi, Fr. Constantin Simiraș, director of the Orthodox Theological Seminary in Iasi, Fr. Gabriel Leonte, director of the Continuing Education Center of the Archdiocese of Iași, as well as Prof. Anca-Elena Rotariu, representative of the "Spiru Haret" Teaching Body House Iași.
