Representatives of the Samara diocese took part in the XV Elizabethan procession of the crosstranslated

On September 27, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, the XV Elisabeth religious procession took place in the historical imperial estate of Ilinskoye-Usovo in the Moscow region. More than five thousand pilgrims took part in the prayer procession, including representatives of the Samara region. The Samara delegation included sisters of the Elizabeth-Barbarian Sisterhood, as well as the head of the department for social service and church charity of the Samara diocese, the rector of the Church in honor of the Three Saints of the city of Samara, Priest Alexy Gladun. The festive Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the village of Usovo was led by Archbishop Thomas of Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk. His Eminence was served by the clergy of the Odintsovo diocese and invited clergy. During the service, special petitions and prayers for Holy Rus' were offered. After the Liturgy, the participants gathered at the Church of the Prophet Elijah in the village of Ilinskoye, where the XV Elizabethan procession began.
