Pastoral visit of Metropolitan Longino to Indianapolis, Weatherby and Kansas Citytranslated

From September 17 to 21, 2026, His Eminence the Archbishop of Novogračanići and Metropolitan of Central America, Mr. Longinus was on a pastoral visit to several parishes of our Diocese.

The visit began in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas, where His Eminence consecrated the cross and bells for the new church. Together with the parish priest, archpriest-stavrophorus Dragan Petrović, Orthodox clergy from the greater Indianapolis area and numerous believers, Metropolitan Longin offered prayers for God's help and mercy, while the parish enters another important part of the construction of its new church.

This important event was recorded by the local television station, marking an important moment in the life and further development of the community of Saint Nicholas.
