Paraklisis of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Trinity Cathedraltranslated

On July 10, Friday evening, Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka performed the Paraklisis of the Most Holy Theotokos in front of the venerated Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, co-served by the clergy of the Trinity Cathedral. The cathedral parishioners prayed during the service. Earnest prayers were offered for the Russian army and the granting of victory on the battlefield. The chants were performed by the cathedral choir. At the end, the clergy and believers sang the prayer “To my Most Blessed Queen.”
Every Friday, at 18:00, a touching service of the Paraklisis of the Mother of God is held in the Cathedral, which consists of a canon, akathist, Gospel reading and prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos. All believers are invited to attend the service on Friday evening. During the Paraclesis, special petitions are heard for the Russian land, for our army, for receiving consolation and courage.
