Last year, at the end of the All-Moscow religious procession, held in memory of all Moscow saints on September 7, His Holiness the Patriarch addressed a message in which he thanked all participants and expressed the hope that the event would revive the annual tradition of such religious processions.

His Holiness drew attention to the special prayerful atmosphere, unanimity and goodwill that reigned among the participants in the procession. Everyone who took part in the prayer procession then remembers how joyful an event it became, despite the objective organizational difficulties. Let me also recall the words of His Holiness the Patriarch that through our numerous participation “we have convincingly testified that Moscow is truly an Orthodox capital, and it will never renounce its Christian heritage.”

This year, with the blessing of our Primate, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill and in agreement with the city authorities, the All-Moscow religious procession will again take place on the day of the cathedral memory of the Moscow saints, which this time falls on September 6 (Sunday).
