Maria LunguI think it is good to stick to the simple faith, as we live it in church on Sunday. I once tried to read too much of the theologians and found myself with a head full of questions that did not help me at all in prayer. In the end, I feel God most clearly when I water the tomatoes in the garden and give thanks in my mind.
Thoma NakoYes, Maria, I have tried it too. When I started reading a lot of theology, I felt like I was taking exams instead of praying. Then I went out into the garden, tended the tomatoes like you do with the ducks, and suddenly my mind calmed down. Sometimes just being there and saying "Thank you" without explanation is enough.
