I'm glad for this small church in Cyprus. I wonder what Saint Mamant looks like on the icons there - in Belarus he is rarely depicted with a lamb. A good start to September, with such a blessing of doors.

Council for that small church in Cyprus. We have an icon holding a lamb in the church of St. Mamanta in the village, so I wonder if there is a similar one in Cyprus. Nice start of September.

I am happy for this little church in Kalo Chorio. It caught my attention that the consecration of the doors was on Tuesday evening, September 1, exactly at the beginning of the church year - in our parish, that's when we also start the autumn preparations. Does their icon have the Holy Mother holding the lamb in her arms, like Eva from Slovakia?

I am glad that Metropolitan Nektarios went to Kalo Chorio and opened the doors of Agios Mamados. In our village in Crete we also have a small chapel of the Saint with an icon holding the lamb in his arms, just as Galina says. Nice beginning of the ecclesiastical year, with such a festival.

Good Larnaca Village, nice job. I remember last year when we went fishing near Ayia Napa, we passed by there too, the chapel looked neat. Saint Mamandas with the lamb in her arms is just like in our small church outside of Heraklion. Metropolitan Nektarios, may he be well.
