Whose is this the king of glory? Lord mighty and mighty, Lord mighty in war… Today was a special day for the Holy Caracallino Cell of the Entrances of the Virgin Mary, as the Inauguration of the new Holy Church was held with the appropriate ecclesiastical splendor. The holy service of the Inauguration was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos, flanked by holy fathers.

The Elder of Kelli, Father Prodromos, together with the brotherhood, Caracalli fathers who ministered in the analogy, as well as representatives of the Holy Monasteries of Simon Petras and Xenophontos attended the holy services.

The litany to the new Holy Church

The litany that took place from the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary to the newly rebuilt chapel was particularly overwhelming.

Хубаво е да се вижда как нов храм се освещава с такава грижа. Спомних си как преди години бяхме на Атон и минахме покрай Карули – винаги ми е правело впечатление колко точно пазят реда на литийното шествие. Интересно кой е направил иконостаса на новия параклис?

Хубаво си го казал, Василе, наистина редът в литийното шествие на Атон е като по конец. Аз съм минавал покрай Карули преди време с един приятел от Варна и точно това ми направи впечатление – никакво бързане, всичко по устав. За иконостаса не знам кой го е правил, но ако е като другите в каракалските килии, сигурно е работа на някой от тамошните дърворезбари. Ти кога беше там?

Хубаво си го споменал за Карули, Василе – и аз съм минавал оттам през 2018-та с един колега от Бургас, точно преди да хванем риба в залива. За иконостаса май е работа на дърводелци от Симонопетра, ако се съди по резбата. Ти успя ли да видиш новия параклис отблизо?

Yes, Methodius, the icon on the iconostasis really looks like a Simon Peterian carving to me - clean and austere. I passed by there last year, but I saw the new chapel only from afar, I was not able to enter. How did you catch the fish in the bay, what did you fish with?

Yes, Methodi, I also passed through Karuli in 2017, just after visiting Simonopetra. The carving really shows that it is theirs - strict and without frills. And what did you do with the fish then, with a fishing line or a net?
