The funerals of the two Air Force pilots who lost their lives on Saturday during the Athens Flying Week air show at Tanagra Air Base, after the F-4 Phantom fighter jet crashed, will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 10, 2026. More specifically, the funeral of Episminagos Ioannis Blesias will be held at 10:00 in the morning at the Metropolitan Church of Agios Nikolaos in Pyrgos Ilias.

Tomorrow afternoon, at 16:30, the funeral of Sminagos Dimitris Petros will be held in Katsikas Ioannina.

Θα προσευχηθώ για την ανάπαυση των ψυχών του Επισμηναγού Ιωάννη Μπλέσια και του Σμηναγού Δημήτρη Πέτρου. Δύο νέοι άντρες, και οι δύο με οικογένειες που τους περιμένουν, είναι πολύ βαρύ αυτό. Η κηδεία στον Πύργο στις 10 το πρωί και η άλλη στα Ιωάννινα το απόγευμα – ας τους θυμόμαστε.
