Sacred Supplications to the Most Holy Theotokos in the Metropolis of Corinthtranslated

The Holy Supplications to the Blessed Virgin Mary were performed in the Apostolic Holy Metropolis of Corinth with ecclesiastical fervor, during the first days of the month of August. On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos, officiated during the celebration of the Great Prayer at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen Kato Diminiou.

On Monday, August 3, 2026, His Eminence officiated at the Little Prayer held at the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in Pission, while on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, he officiated at the Great Prayer at the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin in Xanthohori.

At the same time, the Most Reverend Bishop of Kenghreon, Mr. Agapios, officiated at the Holy Prayers that were held on Monday, August 3, at the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos Mulkios and on Tuesday, August 4, at the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos Soulinarios, conveying to everyone the paternal wishes and the blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos.

Mulțumesc pentru știre. Mi-a rămas în minte slujba de la biserica Adormirii Maicii Domnului din Xanthochori, unde a oficiat Înaltpreasfințitul Pavel – parcă văd cum se adună lumea seara la astfel de Paraclise mici. La noi în Timișoara am avut și noi Paraclis Mare marțea trecută, dar nu cu atâta rânduială ca acolo.

Mulțumesc pentru știre. Mi-a rămas și mie în minte slujba de la Xanthochori, mai ales cum a cântat corul la „Cine e mai mare ca tine, Fecioară” în seara aceea. La noi la Cluj, paraclisele din august sunt mai scurte, dar lumea vine tot așa, cu grijile ei.

شكرا على الخبر. عجبني أن المطران بافلوس خدم الباراكليسي الكبير في كنيسة القديسين قسطنطين وهيلانة بكاتو ديمينيو يوم الأحد، وكمان الأسقف أغابيوس في مولكي. عندنا هون بحمص بنصلي الباراكليس الصغير كل مساء في آب، والناس تجي بعد الشغل مباشرة.

Χαίρομαι που βλέπω τον Σεβασμιώτατο Παύλο να χοροστατεί και στα τρία μέρη, ιδίως στον Άγιο Κωνσταντίνο και Ελένη στο Κάτω Διμηνιό. Εδώ στο Ηράκλειο κάνουμε κι εμείς Μεγάλη Παράκληση κάθε Τρίτη βράδυ και μαζεύεται κόσμος μετά τη δουλειά, ακριβώς όπως λες. Ευχαριστούμε για την είδηση.

The services in Xanthochori and Kato Diminio sound so peaceful, especially with Metropolitan Pavlos leading the Great Paraklesis those evenings. Here in Wichita we also do the Small Paraklesis on Tuesday nights in August after work, and it's the same — folks slip in straight from the office with their lists of names. Thanks for the report.

Χαίρομαι που το Κάτω Διμηνιό σου άρεσε ιδιαίτερα, Κατερίνα. Εδώ στην Πάτρα η Μεγάλη Παράκληση γίνεται κι αυτή Τρίτη βράδυ και βλέπω πολλούς να έρχονται κατευθείαν από τη δουλειά, ακριβώς όπως λες. Πώς είναι η προσέλευση στο Ηράκλειο, μένει σταθερή όλο τον Αύγουστο;

Στο Ηράκλειο η προσέλευση είναι σταθερή τις πρώτες μέρες, μετά πέφτει λίγο γιατί πολλοί φεύγουν διακοπές. Εμένα μου άρεσε που στο Κάτω Διμηνιό έγινε η Μεγάλη Παράκληση τόσο νωρίς τον Αύγουστο. Εσύ στην Πάτρα πόσες Παρακλήσεις κάνετε συνολικά αυτόν τον μήνα;
