Bright celebration of the Holy National Martyr Chrysostom of Smyrna in the White Village of Parostranslated

With particular splendor and solemnity, the Solemn Divine Liturgy in honor of the Holy Ethnomatyros Chrysostomos of Smyrna and the fellow Martyrs was celebrated in the Holy Parish Church of Zoodochos Pigis and Agios Chrysostomos of Smyrna, Aspro Chori, Paros, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paronaxia, Mr. Kallinikos, co-celebrant of the Theophilist Bishop of Keramos, Mr. Bartholomaios, with the participation of clergy of the Holy Metropolis and the presence of a large number of believers.
The divine word was preached by Deacon Father Panagiotis Kosmopoulos.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the blessing of the collybus was performed in honor of the Holy Martyrs, as well as the Fourteenth Memorial Mass of the late Protopresbyter Fr. Nikolaos Vijilaios, who in recent years served as Vicar of Asprohorio, which was also his birthplace.
The Mayor of Paros, Mr. Kostas Bizas, Deputy Mayors, Presidents of Associations, representatives of the island's institutions and a large number of believers were present.
