Ierissou Theoklitos at the celebrating Petrokerasatranslated
In the idyllic Petrokerasa and under the aura of the wonderful green, the Metropolis of Ierissos, Mount Athos and Ardameri solemnly celebrated the popular Saint and Prophet of the Old Testament Ilios Thesvitis. After all, for years now, this Community has been honoring its Patron Saint, who, being the most philanthropic, floods the hearts of the Christ-loving People with His grace.
On the main day of the Feast of the Masses of Orthros and the solemn Divine Liturgy, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ierissos, Mount Athos and Ardameri Mr. Theoklitos, flanked by the Pan. Chief Fr. Alexios Marakis and Fr. Nikodimos Kotinoudis, as well as the elected Vicar of the Holy Church Rev. Fr. Michael Yannakov, a man of many children and a spiritual man.
The Christ-loving People of Petrokeras came to the Eucharistic Table, led by the Mayor of Lagada, Ms. Niki Andreadou, the Deputy Mayors, Ms. Stavroula Stathis and Mr. Petros Makridis, the President of the Community, Mr. Athanasios Koukliatou, the former President of the Community, Mr. Athanasios Kalafati, the Honorary President of this, Mr. Michael Kartsiotis et al.
