July 25, 2026 · 1 min read

The Message of the Theophilus Bishop of Matzouga and Northern Madagascar, Mr. Nifonos, on the Results of the Pan-Hellenic Examinations. my dear children,

On the occasion of the announcement of the results of the Panhellenic Examinations, I wish to express to all of you my undivided love, my warmest wishes and the prayers that accompany your new beginning.

First of all, I heartily congratulate those who managed to fulfill their goal. Your success is the vindication of your efforts, perseverance and personal sacrifices. I wish the Lord to illuminate your every next step, so that your academic course becomes the foundation for offering love and goodness to our society.

With exactly the same paternal love, my thoughts also go out to you who did not see the result you expected. My children, don't let an exam judge your worth or snuff out your dreams. Life opens up many different paths, and many times God leads our steps where we least expect it, for our own good. Do not lose your faith, courage and hope. Every difficulty in life can be the beginning of a new, even more beautiful beginning.

Remember guys…

Thanks for sharing this, Bishop Niphon’s words are spot on. The part that really hit me was when he said not to let one exam decide your worth – I’ve seen that with my own kids’ friends who didn’t get the marks they wanted but ended up on much better paths later. Keeps the perspective right.
