The celebration of the Synagogue of all Saints of Aeginatranslated

With splendor and the participation of a large number of believers, the Synaxis of all the Saints of Aegina was celebrated in Aegina, in the celebratory Holy Church of the Saints in Livadi. The celebrations began on the evening of Wednesday, July 29, 2026, with the solemn High Priestly Vespers, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Hydra, Spetses and Aegina, Mr. Ephraim. The Consecration was attended by the Patriarch of the Holy Metropolis, Archimandrite Fr. Nektarios Dardanos, clergy of Aegina, as well as visiting priests. During the solemn High Priestly Vespers, a choir from Athens sang.

After the solemn High Priestly Vespers, a treat was offered in the vestry of the Holy Temple.

On the morning of Thursday, July 30, 2026, the solemn High Priestly Divine Liturgy was celebrated, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Ephraim. The divine word was preached by the Protosygello of the Holy Metropolis, Archimandrite Father Nektarios Dardanos. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness performed the ordination as Reader of the venerable young John Koukoulis, commissioner of the Holy Church and great-grandson of the priest.

Ζωή ΑναγνώστουI am glad that Ioannis Koukoulis was ordained Reader, I know him from my previous visits to Aegina. Nice that a choir from Athens came for Vespers, the chants must have been very beautiful. I hope the celebrations continue like this every year.

Χρήστος ΠαππάςYes, Ioannis is a good man and works hard as a commissioner, I'm glad he was appointed. The choir from Athens really gave a different feel to Vespers, the tropes came out clearly. Did you go this year or did you read it afterwards?
