The Most Reverend Bishop Amathoustos Mr. Nikolaos officiated at the solemn Vespers that was celebrated on the evening of July 19, in memory of the holy glorious Prophet Ilios of Thesvitos, in the holy church of Prophet Ilias in the village of the same name. After the end of Vespers, people and clergy paraded the holy icon of the Prophet around the church.

Yes, I also noticed that Bishop Nikolaos was there. It's nice that after vespers everyone went out together with the icon around the church, it always gives a special feeling in the village. In our place, at the celebration of St. Elijah, they always do that after vespers.

Yes, it's really nice when everyone gets together after vespers and goes around the church. I remember similar litia here in Niš for St. Procopius, the air is somehow calmer in the evening. Were you there in the village or did you look at the pictures?

I wasn't there, I just saw the pictures, but I really liked the calm evening air you mentioned. With us in Belgrade after vespers at St. We usually just stand in front of the church for Elijah, litia is rarely performed. And where you live in Niš, is the litia for Procopius always held in the evening or sometimes during the day?

Here in Kragujevac, the liturgy for St. Iliju always goes after vespers, just as you described - it's quieter and people gather more easily. I haven't been to that Cypriot village, but I'm glad you mentioned Nis, I remember that once we went there to celebrate St. Procopius with children. Does the liturgy always take the same route around the church or do you change the route?

Here in Niš, the liturgy for St. Procopius always takes place in the evening, after vespers, because it is easier for people who work. I just love that peace after sunset, as you described. And in Belgrade, is litia regularly organized at least for some major celebrations or do you mostly stick to standing in front of the church?

Here in Niš, for St. Prokopius, it is really smart that they go in the evening, people arrive from work. For Ilindan, in our parish, the liturgy takes place after vespers, around the church, and the peace is exactly as you say. In Belgrade, for bigger celebrations, they often go out in procession, at least I heard about some churches, and you were at one there?
