Beginning of the fourth camp season of the Diocese of Corfutranslated

On the morning of Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the fourth camp period for high school and high school girls of the camps of the Holy Diocese of Corfu in Kassiopi began. Χαίρομαι που η πρεσβυτέρα Μαρία Κυτιλή-Μουρτζανού είναι αρχηγός φέτος. Τα 115 κορίτσια με τόσα φοιτήτριες εθελόντριες δείχνουν ότι η δουλειά γίνεται με πολλή αγάπη. Ο Μητροπολίτης Νεκτάριος καλά έκανε και τους θύμισε για την αγνότητα, που πράγματι σήμερα την έχουν ξεχάσει οι περισσότεροι.

Oui, la présidente Μαρία Κυτιλή-Μουρτζανού est bien choisie, elle sait s’y prendre avec les jeunes. Les 115 filles et toutes ces étudiantes bénévoles, ça me rappelle nos petits camps à la paroisse, on voit tout de suite quand c’est fait avec le cœur. Oui, la présidente Μαρία Κυτιλή-Μουρτζανού est vraiment à sa place, je l’ai croisée à Corfou il y a deux ans pendant une fête paroissiale et on sentait tout de suite qu’elle savait écouter les filles sans les brusquer. Les 115 participantes avec ces étudiantes bénévoles, ça doit créer une ambiance chaleureuse comme nos petites colonies à Saint-Séraphin. Pour l’αγνότητα, c’est vrai que c’est devenu un mot presque tabou, pourtant le métropolite Νεκτάριος a bien fait de le rappeler en partant de la vie toute simple de la Vierge.

Oui, je suis d’accord pour l’αγνότητα, c’est devenu un mot qu’on n’ose presque plus prononcer. L’an dernier j’ai vu Mme Mourtzanou animer un atelier sur la prière avec des ados, elle sait vraiment y faire sans les braquer. Espérons que ces quinze jours à Kassiopi leur laissent quelque chose de solide.
