The Memorial of the Holy Great Martyr Irene (Tuesday, May 5, 2026) was celebrated with splendor in the eponymous Holy Church within the building of the Child Protection Center (Women's Orphanage).

The Solemn Vespers was officiated by our Most Reverend Metropolitan, while on the day of the same name, the Orthros was officiated and the Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Holy Bishop of Olympus Mr. Kyrillos.

The President of the Association of Expatriate Policemen of the Dodecanese, Mr. Georgios Georgakakos, and the members of the Board of Directors were present, whom the Theophilus in his address congratulated on the Memory of their patroness and conveyed the wishes of His Eminence.
