Thanks for the article. I didn't know the story of Bishop Myron cleaning that image stained by sin, it reminded me of what the priest always says in the parish: you have to work on your own soul like you fix a frayed wire. Agios Myron from Crete really cleansed that image that had been blackened by sin, as the despot Gerasimos said. It reminded me of how every Saturday after the shop I try to put some order in myself before I go to church. Thanks for the article.
