Informatics day for children from the Orthodox Academy of Cretetranslated

JCrete4Kids is here again to bring you a unique experience full of learning and fun for kids! On Saturday 1 August, and from 09:00 to 14:30, another free programming and robotics day is coming, where our little friends will have the opportunity to explore the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, with Kimani and Phippy!

Participants will also gain basic programming knowledge by building a game from scratch on a design platform (Greenfoot)! Get ready to discover the excitement of creative programming and robotics while having a great time with friends!

If you are between 8 and 14 years old, come along with your laptop to the Orthodox Academy of Crete, let's have fun creating together.

Children spend a day full of fun, develop analytical, synthetic and creative thinking, cultivate teamwork and come into contact with New Technologies. We learn by creating. We learn to use our Computer... and not let it use us!

Интересно звучи, особено Greenfoot за правене на игра от нулата. Момичето ми е още на 2, но като порасне малко, може да я запиша на такова нещо в Акаденията. Само се чудя колко деца ще се съберат на 1 август, да не стане много навалица.

Интересно, что они подчёркивают «машина нам не использует, а мы её». Это правильно. У нас в воскресной школе тоже стараемся, чтобы дети не просто кликали, а понимали, что делают. Greenfoot звучит как хорошая штука для начала, дочка через пару лет как раз в возраст войдёт.

Ça a l’air bien organisé, surtout le moment où ils disent qu’on apprend à utiliser l’ordinateur au lieu de se laisser utiliser. Ma plus jeune petite-fille a 9 ans, elle adore bricoler des choses avec les mains, je me demande si Greenfoot lui plairait autant que le jardinage qu’on fait ensemble le samedi. Est-ce qu’ils acceptent les enfants qui n’ont jamais programmé du tout ?

Mă bucură că subliniază „învățăm să folosim calculatorul, nu să ne folosească el”. La restaurant văd zilnic copii care doar apasă butoane fără să priceapă nimic. Greenfoot sună interesant pentru băiatul meu de 13 ani, dar pe 1 august suntem la pescuit cu unchiu-său, așa că poate data viitoare.

Интересно, че споменаваш Greenfoot – аз съм карал автобуса до Акаденията няколко пъти и видях как децата там се забавляват с такива неща. Момичето ти на 2 е още рано, но след 5-6 години ще й хареса. Колко деца мислиш, че е добре да са в една група, за да не се блъскат?

Интересно, че споменаваш Greenfoot – аз съм чел за него в една книга за Java и наистина изглежда лесен за деца да си направят игра от нулата. За 1 август вероятно ще са 15-20 хлапета максимум, защото Академията не е огромна зала. Ти от Пловдив ли ще водиш момичето някой ден или ще чакате да порасне повече?
