A Holy Vigil for the upcoming feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross will be held on the evening of Sunday, September 13, until the dawn of Monday, September 14, 2026, in the Ascension of the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra in Byron (G. Gennimata 5 & St. Ieronymos Simonopetritou). Start: Sunday, September 13 at 8:00 p.m.

Peras: Monday, September 14 at 1:15 am.

On Tuesday morning (14/9) there will be no second Divine Liturgy.

Thanks for the notice. This year it falls on a Sunday night, so I'll be able to go after the store closes. The time until 1:15 is good for me, although I get up early the next day. Does anyone know if there will be a distribution of flowers or basil branches like other times?

Thanks for the announcement. This year it's Sunday evening, so after closing the accounts at the office I can get there around 9. I don't know if they still serve basil as usual, but anyway I'm glad it's at Simonopetritiko.
